Sawyer Burr

Sawyer came to us from a rescue shelter in Columbus, Ohio where our oldest daughter worked.  When he joined our family he was a bit skittish and did not like loud noises.  He loved playing with other animals though, his canine brothers and feline sister were not so enthused about a new puppy.  Soon, however they all accepted him and would at least tolerate his high energy.  

When his older brothers passed away, he was a bit lost.  In March of 2020, a few months before he passed away, Mom and Dad brought him two very energetic 9 week old doodles, much to his dismay.  He had settled into a life of leisure and solitude and did not like having it interrupted.  He adjusted though and while he was not ecstatic to have the boys around, he did accept them and would keep them in line until he passed a few months later.

Sawyer was a lover, snuggle bug and happy boy, he surely brightened our days.
