Jesse James Abata

Jesse James passed away on June 1, 2026.

He loved his toys; he would play fetch all day if I let him. Jess and I have been together since he was a puppy. He joined the family here in Bryan even though we lived in Illinois at the time. I was back here visiting family and stopped at the pet store and there he was looking lonely; all the other pups were gone but him. Four years ago, I moved back to Bryan where it all started.

Over the past few weeks, Jess got tired. Despite all the love and care surrounded him, his little body couldn't fight anymore.

Jess, I love you and will miss you so. Your brother James Dean will miss you too.

He also had many friends and family that cared for him; he leaves behind many hearts, love and memories that will never fade. He was deeply loved and will be missed forever.
